ABOUT MARCO
Born and raised in Italy, Marco is an Audio Engineer and Record Producer with a classical music background.
Having always been fascinated by sound, he grew up playing classical guitar at the Conservatory of Piacenza, his home town. Right before graduating from high school he was exposed to the technical side of the music world, working on some recordings with his band.
After graduating from University of Milan in Science and Technology of Music Communication, he moved to L.A. to attend the Los Angeles Recording School, completing with honors the Audio Recording Program, where he also became a Pro Tools 210M and 210P Certified Operator.
In his career in Los Angeles he took part of numbers of successful international projects such as: The Rolling Stones single ‘Angry’, which anticipates their long-awaited album ‘Hackney Diamonds’, Post Malone’s album ‘AUSTIN’, Iggy Pop’s album ‘Every Loser’, Ozzy Osbourne’s album ‘Patient #9’ which won ‘Best Rock Album’ at the Grammies in 2023, Keith Urban‘s latest album ‘The Speed Of Now, Part 1’, including his featuring with P!nk on ‘One Too Many’ (certified RIAA Platinum); Janelle Monaé’s 2018 Grammy Nominated Album Of The Year ‘Dirty Computer’ which debuted at number 1 on the Top R&B Billboard chart.
He has also had the chance to work with some of the most prominent italian artists of all time such as Vasco Rossi, Tiziano Ferro, Emma Marrone, Eros Ramazzotti and Ultimo just to name a few.
Most recently he produced Tiziano Ferro‘s latest album “Il Mondo È Nostro” which debuted at #1 in the Album FIMI charts in Italy, and currently holds the Gold certification by FIMI.
His experience in the studio includes recording and mixing sessions for, among others: The Rolling Stones, Camila Cabello, Keith Urban, Selena Gomez, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Ozzy Osbourne, Mark Ronson, Eddie Vedder, Post Malone, Ringo Starr, Glen Hansard, Pentatonix, Maroon 5, Kevin Bacon, Iggy Pop, Alejandra Guzmán and Disney.
In 2020 Marco was invited to join the Recording Academy (NARAS) as Voting Member as well as the Audio Engineering Society (AES) with Member status.
